This will be the longest blog post in history. This past year Sophie started her first year of dance and loves it. She is always dancing in the car and around the house. Who am I kidding, she dances anywhere there is music. A couple months ago a cousin of mine gave Sophie this headpiece and tutu skirt, which was made for her by my grandmother over 40 years ago. When Sophie requested a ballerina party I knew I had to use these heirloom items and designed her party around the colors. I had only one problem, I didn’t have a top to go with it. I contacted my good friend Mandy from Koko Blush and she found the most amazing ‪Tutu Du Monde‬ top to match perfectly. She is a wizard when it comes to style. I had a few different ideas on her shoot, so I did them all. This was Sophie’s first actual “friend” party, it was so fun to see her with all her little friends. A big thanks to my husband for putting up with all my crazy ideas and for building my stage, also to my Aunt Zanne(who is really like my mom) for sewing the drapes and helping put everything together, to my cousin Kim for the priceless heirlooms and helping me as well. I couldn’t have done it without you.
